Where Are We Going in 2020?

2019 was a great year for travel for us!

In February we started off in New York City. After that, Katelyn was off to Austin, Texas for South by Southwest for work. There wasn’t a lot of time for sightseeing as SXSW is all-encompassing but it was still a good trip. In March, Marc’s cycling team was off to Aurora, Kentucky. Spring brought back-to-back wedding weekends in Frankenmuth, Michigan (Michigan’s Little Bavaria) and Las Vegas. In between those weddings we will be doing a Southern Utah road trip to see The Wave, hike Zion slot canyons, sand board the Coral Pink Sand Dunes, and some do some other amazing hikes. July brought us our annual Northern Michigan trip to Mullett Lake and we rounded out the summer with Marc’s 30th birthday in which he rode his bike across the state of Michigan in one day.

So where are we going in 2020?

You’re guess is as good as ours!

Honestly, we have a couple irons in the fire but nothing concrete planned.

We are renovating our 110+ year old home, which is very fun and exciting but is also very time consuming. Being out of the country or even out of state during construction will be very difficult. And if you’ve ever had any large home projects in the works then you know that scheduling will always be a huge obstacle—another thing making travel difficult.

What we do know for certain is that we’ll be headed to Northern Michigan for our annual summer trip (celebrating 30 years with our crew) in July. Other than that, we might be going to Tuscon, Arizona in the next few months and maybe even Iceland this summer.

So we guess this year is going to be a surprise! Stay tuned!
