Our Plans for 2019

Happy 2019!

We’re well into the year but we finally sat down and mapped out (literally) our trips for the year. It is always a delicate balance between how many PTO days we each have, business travel, deadlines for work, and spending time at home with our pup. However we have a really exciting 2019 ahead of us!

So what do we have planned?

At the end of February we are on our way to New York City to spend a quick three days visiting the City’s finest art museums (can you believe that neither of us have been to a NYC art museum?!). After that, Katelyn is off to Austin, Texas for South by Southwest. There will be a lot of work involved but thankfully SXSW will take her all over the city. Later in March, Marc might be going to Aurora, Kentucky for a bike race with his team. Later this spring we will be going to wedding back-to-back weekends in Frankenmuth, Michigan (Michigan’s Little Bavaria) and Las Vegas. In between those weddings we will be doing a National Park road trip through Nevada, Arizona, and Utah to see Zion National Park, Vermilion Cliffs, and Bryce Canyon. Per usual we will be spending a large chuck of time in Northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula, enjoying everything our state’s Great Lakes have to offer. In August, Marc turns 30(!!) and we are hoping to make a trip up to Banff, Alberta. Although we don’t have plans for the fall yet, it will more than likely include some weekend and day trips as we settle down for the holidays!
